The Deputy Minister for the Interior, Hon. Naana Eyiah this morning led staff of the Ministry for a clean-up exercise as part of the 2024 Civil Service Week Celebration.

The Deputy Minister, accompanied by the Chief Director, Mrs Doreen Annan and the staff mowed the frontage of the Ministry and cleaned the surroundings.

Other activities for the annual celebration include a Float, Press Launch, Thanksgiving Service, Policy Fair, Public Lecture, Know the Civil Service Quiz Completion, Cooking Completion and Inter-Ministerial Games. Awards Ceremony will climax the celebration at Accra International Confrence Centre.

The celebration, which is on the theme, ‘Combatting Threats to Sub-Regional Peace and Security: Perspective of the Civil Service’ aims at ensuring effective collaboration between the Public and Private Sector for accelerated development in the country and also facilitate interactions with clients and the public on the role of the Civil Service in combating threats to peace.
