As part of the 2024 Civil Service Week Celebration, the staff of the Ministry of the Interior led by the Acting Chief Director, Mrs Doreen Annan, this morning joined a host of Civil Servants for a float through the principal streets around the Ministerial enclave.

The Float followed by a Press Launch at CLOGSAG Auditorium marked the official opening of the 2024 Civil Service Week Celebration and Awards Ceremony scheduled for April 24, to May 3, 2024.

The celebration on the theme, ‘Combatting Threats to Sub-Regional Peace and Security: Perspective of the Civil Service’ aims at ensuring effective collaboration between the Public and Private Sector for accelerated development in the country and facilitate interactions with clients and the public on the role of the Civil Service in combating threats to peace.

The line-up activities for the annual celebration include a Float, Press Launch, Clean-up Exercise, Thanksgiving Service, Policy Fair, Public Lecture, Know the Civil Service Quiz Completion, Cooking Completion, Inter-Ministerial Games and Awards Ceremony.
