Government Launches Initiative to Engage Youth in Conflict Prevention
The Deputy Minister of the Interior, Hon. Ebenezer Okletey Terlabi has launched a four-day initiative aimed at engaging youth in selected “hotspots” on conflict prevention. The programme, ‘Dialoguing with the Youth in Selected Hotspots on Conflict Prevention,” brings together young people from Nima and other vulnerable communities to discuss ways to prevent violence and promote peace. The initiative is a collaboration between the National Peace Council and the Dallaire Institute and supported by the Ministry of the Interior.
