The Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, attended the launch of Ghana’s 24-Hour Economy policy in Accra, alongside H.E. President John Dramani Mahama and other officials.
This milestone marks a significant step in the country’s economic transformation agenda.
At the launch, President Mahama noted that the 24-Hour Economy is not merely about extending working hours but represents a revolutionary approach to conducting businesses and economic operations.
He emphasized that the policy aims to unlock Ghana’s full economic potential and maximize its human and economic resources.
The policy seeks to operate key sectors, including agro-processing, manufacturing, transport, health, and digital services, around the clock, thereby boosting national productivity and expanding opportunities.
