The Ministry of the Interior (MINTER), organised a Sensitization programme for Staff on Services being rendered by the Ministry of the Interior at the MINTER Conference Room in Accra.

The one-month-long sensitisation programme which will afford Schedule Officers to make presentations on the various Services being provided by the Ministry to the public, forms part of the Ministry’s Communication Strategy aimed at ensuring flow of information between the Ministry and the public.

The Director of Finance and Administration of the Ministry, Mrs. Doreen Annan, who addressed the Staff during the meeting, noted that as ambassadors of the Ministry, there is the need to know the various Services being provided by the Ministry so that they will be informed about what the Ministry does and be able to educate clients and the public on the Ministry’s Services.

‘You must all take this sensitisation program seriously and learn because the various tasks and duties that you perform feed into the overall vision, mission and mandate of the Ministry,’ she urged the Staff.

The Director assured Staff of the Minister’s and Management’s commitment and support, and noted that it is a collective responsibility and determination of all to ensure that the Ministry achieves its mandate.

‘We should work together to overcome any challenges and ensure that we contribute our quota towards the attainment of our mandate,’ she stated.

She thanked the Minister and Management for the Sensitisation program which she said serves as a learning platform and knowledge sharing, which will go a long way to help effective and efficient service delivery.
