The Minister for the Interior, Hon. Henry Quartey joined His Excellency, President Akufo-Addo at the 67th President’s Independence Day Awards at the Accra International Conference Centre.
The theme for this year’s Independence Day, which will be celebrated in Koforidua in the Eastern Region, is ‘Our Democracy, Our Pride’.
The Independence Day Awards brought together Government officials, security services, teachers, students among others.
H.E. the President presented awards to Basic School students from across the country.
