A delegation from Jordan, led by Mr. Mo’ath Alzo’bi, Director of Political Affairs at the Office of His Royal Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan, has paid a courtesy call on Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, to discuss areas of mutual cooperation and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

The meeting focused on enhancing collaboration in key security areas, including counterterrorism, intelligence sharing, and capacity building for security services.

Hon. Muntaka welcomed the Jordanian delegation and reaffirmed Ghana’s commitment to fostering stronger partnerships with Jordan in the areas of security and intelligence cooperation.

The Minister noted that enhanced collaboration and knowledge exchange between the two countries would contribute significantly to strengthening the capacity of their respective security institutions.

The Jordanian delegation also expressed its readiness to work closely with Ghana to promote shared security objectives and advance cooperation in counterterrorism and other strategic areas of mutual interest.

The discussions underscored the commitment of both countries to deepen cooperation in addressing emerging security threats, promoting regional and global peace and stability.
