The Charge d’Affairs of the United States Embassy in Ghana, H.E. Rolf Olson, has met with Interior Minister, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, to discuss strengthening collaboration on security issues. The meeting focused on addressing criminal behaviour, cybercrime, and enhancing law enforcement capabilities.
The Charge d’Affairs expressed gratitude for the Minister’s collaboration, citing the importance of consistency and upholding the rule of law.
Hon. Muntaka thanked the US Embassy for its cooperation and assured Ghana’s commitment to working closely with the Embassy to combat security challenges.
The two sides also discussed plans for continued training for law enforcement officers, with the Minister emphasising Ghana’s readiness to collaborate on capacity-building initiatives.`
