Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Post 2024 Election Evaluation Dialogue in Koforidua, themed “Dialogue for a Stronger Democracy and Social Cohesion,” President Mahama called on Ghanaians to prioritize the nation’s interests above partisan politics.

He stressed that peace building is not a one-time event, but a continuous process that requires commitment and conviction. He commended Ghana’s status as the most peaceful country in West Africa, attributing this achievement to the collective efforts of Ghanaians and the prayers of religious groups.

President Mahama condemned the violence that occurred during the 2024 elections, emphasizing that political differences should not be used as a tool for violence. He urged citizens to reject tribalism, religious extremism, and political hostility, promoting a culture of peace, compassion, and mutual respect.
