Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, Minister for the Interior paid a heartfelt visit to the family of the late Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, former first lady of Ghana, following her passing.
During the visit, Hon. Muntaka expressed his deepest condolences to the family, describing the former First Lady as a true leader who championed the cause of women in Ghana.
He reflected on her remarkable legacy, which will undoubtedly be remembered for generations to come. “Her dedication to empowering women and her unwavering commitment to the nation’s progress are qualities that define her leadership,” he stated.
Hon. Muntaka also offered words of comfort, citing the teachings that acknowledge the cycle of life. “There is a time for everything, and her passing should be seen as the will of God, who has come to take her to his bosom,” he said.
The Hon. Minister wished the family God’s prayers, wisdom, unity, and protection as they mourn the loss of their beloved.
