IVO Ghana Limited, an international trading and distributing company, donated assorted items to the Ministry of the Interior in Accra.

The items included 20 boxes of Disinfectant Spray Cleanol, 20 boxes of Hand Sanitizer All Day, 20 boxes of Hand Wash Eco, 6 boxes of Eco Air Freshener, 5 boxes of Bacticare Sanitizer, 10 boxes of Spray Bacticare, 8 packs of Freedom Toilet Roll, 10 boxes of Floor Cleaner Destello and 5 boxes of WC Cleaner Destello.

Presenting the items, the Managing Director of the company, Mr Hamza Hamza, said the donation is part of the company’s effort to support the fight against the novel coronavirus disease and to decrease the spread of the virus by promoting the use of hand wash soap, disinfectants, sanitisers, and household cleaning products.

He said the donation which is also part of the company’s social corporate responsibility is to support the government to curtail the menace and hoped that the items will go a long way to make a difference in the Ministry.

The Chief Director of the Ministry of the Interior, Mrs. Adelaide Anno-Kumi, who received the items on behalf of the Ministry, expressed gratitude to the company for the kind gesture.

Mrs. Anno-Kumi said the Ministry, under the leadership of Hon. Ambrose Dery continues to put necessary measures in place to protect staff against the pandemic. She assured the company that the items will be put to good use.
