The Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, and the Minister for Defence, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, visited polling stations in the ongoing Ablekuma North Constituency Parliamentary elections to monitor and assess the electoral process.

The Ministers toured some polling stations, including The Lord’s Pentecostal Church and Living Spring Day Nursery, located near Been-to at Kwashieman.

During their visit, the Ministers engaged with Electoral Commission (EC) officials and security personnel, commending their efforts in facilitating a smooth election.

Hon. Muntaka and Dr. Omane Boamah reiterated the importance of a free, fair, and peaceful electoral process and encouraged all stakeholders to uphold democratic principles.

He added that adequate security has been provided across all polling stations, and the same will be done at the coalition centres.

He further assured them of the Government’s unwavering commitment to ensuring peace and stability during and after the elections.
