Delta Agro Limited, a local antiseptic liquid and antibacterial soap manufacturing company, on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 donated cartons of antibacterial soap and antiseptic liquid to the Ministry of the Interior.
The gesture, according to the company, was part of their corporate social responsibility and also to help in fighting the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID 19) within the country.
Mrs. Adelaide Anno-Kumi, Chief Director of the Ministry of the Interior, who received the items on behalf of the Ministry, expressed appreciation to the management of Delta Agro Limited.
She indicated that, the items would be used for the intended purposes.
She said as a Ministry which interacts with many people for varied services, the gesture could not have come at any better time than this.
She appealed to citizens to adhere to the protocols being advocated by the Ghana Health Service.
In all, 7,682 pieces of Maram soaps and antiseptic liquid were donated.
Delta Agro Limited was represented by Fares Gerges, Business Development Manager, Mohammed Al Roz, Sales Executive and Kenedy Agbekoh, Marketing Officer.
