A pulling-out ceremony has been held  in honour of Dr. Albert Brown Gaisie, immediate past Chief Fire Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service at the GNFS Headquarters. The pull-out ceremony is a symbolic ceremony to signify the retirement of an Officer usually of Higher Ranking. GOVERNMENT WORKING TOWARDS NON-CUSTODIAL SENTENCING REGIME

Mr. Ambrose Dery, the Minister of the Interior on Friday said government together with the Prisons Council is looking at the non-custodial sentencing regime to focus more on the rehabilitation aspect of the Prisons. 398 FIRE SERVICE RECRUITS PASS OUT

Three hundred and ninety-eight Ghana National Fire Service recruits have passed out at the Fire Academy and Training School of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) in Accra.
