The Fire Academy and Training School on Friday, June 21, 2019  passed out 511 fire men and women to support the execution of Service’s mission of providing efficient and valued fire and rescue services to the citizenry. The Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, on Thursday handed-over 109 vehicles to the Ghana Police Service to ramp up their logistical and operational needs and to ensure efficient policing. They comprised 16 buses, five towing vehicles, four water tankers, 50 pick-ups, five ambulances, 10 Toyota Landcruisers V8 and 19 Toyota Landcruiser Troopers.
