Government Receives Gbinyiri Mediation Committee Report on Inter-Communal Conflict Resolution

The Hon. Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, has received the final report of the Gbenyiri Mediation Committee, aimed at resolving inter-communal conflicts between the Lobi/Birifors and Gonja communities in the Savannah Region. The Committee, established in September 2025, was tasked with fostering cooperation and peaceful coexistence between the communities. The report is expected to serve as a roadmap for rebuilding relationships, tolerance, and coexistence.
