The Minister for the Interior, on the advice of the Regional Security Council, has lifted the curfew on Nalerigu Township and its environs in the North East Region with immediate effect. This has been necessitated by the genuine desire of the Chiefs and people of the area to sustain peace in the area as well as the improvement in the security situation in the area.
