The Mayor of Trenton, New York in the United States of America, Mayor W. Reed Gusciora, welcomed the Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, to Trenton for a tour of the Trenton Fire Department last week.
In collaboration with other municipalities, the City of Trenton plans to provide training support to personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service, with a focus on best practices in firefighting and emergency response, and donate firefighters equipment to the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).
The training is expected to enhance the capabilities of the GNFS and improve their response to emergencies.
The partnership between Ghana and Trenton marks the beginning of a meaningful collaboration, fostering shared knowledge, mutual support, and a commitment to public service
Hon. Muntaka was accompanied by officials of Ghana’s Permanent Mission in New York.
