Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, Minister for the Interior, called on Muslims in Ghana to maintain unity and uphold the principles of Islam.
During a courtesy call by the Ahli Sunnah Wal Jamaah delegation, who came to wish him a successful Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr, the Minister stressed that Islam is a peaceful religion that promotes unity and dialogue.
Hon. Muntaka noted that Muslims should be guided by the teachings of Prophet Mohammed and use constructive dialogue to address concerns. He wished the Muslim community Eid Mubarak and assured them that his Ministry will continue to ensure peace, security and stability in the country.
The delegation thanked the Minister for the reception and interventions on national security issues and pledged their continued support for national development.
