Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, has paid a visit to Sgt. Akocha Samuel, a police officer who was shot in the chest and leg by armed robbers in the La area, at the Police Hospital in Accra.

The officer was part of a group of police officers who responded to a robbery attack in the area, and despite being injured, the officers were able to arrest two of the robbers, with the others on the run, and investigations are ongoing.

During his visit, the Minister commended Sgt. Akocha for his bravery and thanked him for his service.

Hon. Muntaka wished him a speedy recovery and urged the medical staff to provide the officer with all the necessary care needed for his full recovery.
