The Chinese Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Tong Defa, hosted Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, at his official residence in Accra, strengthening ties between the two nations.

During the meeting, the two leaders reminisced about the long-standing relationship between Ghana and China, discussing areas of mutual interest and potential collaboration that could benefit both countries.

The Minister and the Ambassador explored opportunities for cooperation in various fields, including security, infrastructure development, and capacity building, with the aim of enhancing the lives of citizens in both nations.

The meeting underscored the commitment of both Ghana and China to fostering a strong and productive bilateral relationship built on mutual respect and benefit.
