A moderate to heavy rainstorm has been observed from the Togo border moving towards Ghana. The storm which is accompanied by strong winds is expected to affect mainly the Volta, Eastern, Ashanti, Brong Ahafo and Western* regions.

Boat operators on the Volta Lake are advised to be cautious when crossing the lake as there is a risk of damaging winds occurring on the lake.
