The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr. David Asante-Apeatu has commended the Police female hockey team for their success during the recent Saphoda Hockey league.
The IGP made the commendation when the team called on him and Police Management and Advisory Board (POMAB) members to brief them about the achievement they have made in the hockey league.
The team was the runners-up in the hockey league that comprises of GRA-Customs Ladies, Reformers-Prisons Ladies, Ark Ladies, Extinguishers-Fire Service and Real Ambassadors.
The IGP personally made a donation of GH¢ 2000.00 to the hockey team as a token to help boost the morale of the Police female hockey team.
He commended them for raising the flag of Ghana Police Service high and urged them to continue to enhance the image of the Police Service.
He finally charged the team to work hard in other to win more laurels for the Police Service in future.
