Multi-Pac Ghana Limited, a beverage manufacturing company in the country, on Thursday, 9th April, 2020 donated items worth GH₵ 30,000.00 to the Ministry of the Interior.
The donation was part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility and a move to help in fighting the spread of the Coronavirus disease (COVID 19) in the country.
Chief Director of the Ministry of the Interior, Mrs. Adelaide Anno-Kumi, received the items on behalf of the Ministry, expressed appreciation to the management of Multi-Pac Ghana Limited.
Mrs. Anno-Kumi stated that, the items would be used for the purpose it was intended to serve.
She also appealed to citizens to adhere to the protocols being put in place by the security agencies and the Ghana Health Service.
The items were made up of 500 packs of bottled water, 10 boxes latex Examination gloves, 600 bottles of hand sanitizers and 600 bottles of liquid soap.
Mr. Rabea Bourji, a representative from Multi-Pac Ghana Ltd. made the presentation on behalf of the company.
