The Japanese Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Hiroshi Yoshimoto, paid a courtesy call on the Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, to discuss areas of mutual interest and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, H.E. Yoshimoto expressed Japan’s commitment to supporting Ghana’s development agenda, particularly in the areas of security and deepening diplomatic relations.

Hon. Muntaka assured the Ambassador of the Government’s commitment to working closely with international partners to achieve common goals. He also emphasised the importance of continued collaboration to address shared challenges.

The meeting provided an opportunity for both parties to explore potential areas of cooperation, including capacity building for security agencies and development projects.
