The Ministry of Interior’s Hajia Amina King Mohammed, Principal Programme Officer and Mr. Sadat Cole, Estate Officer, have been honored with Civil Service Awards at the 2025 Civil Service Week and Awards Ceremony.
The ceremony was held at the Alisa Hotel in Accra, recognizing the dedication and hard work of Civil Servants across various ministries.
The 2025 Civil Service Week Celebration was themed “Adapting to Automation, Artificial Intelligence, and E-governance: The Civil Service in Contemporary Ghana.” This theme highlights the importance of embracing technological advancements in public service delivery.
The Head of Civil Service, Dr. Evans Aggrey-Darkoh, emphasized the significance of adapting to these changes to improve efficiency and transparency in the civil service.
During the ceremony, awards were presented to outstanding civil servants who have demonstrated exceptional commitment and dedication to their work. The awardees were recognized for their contributions to the growth and development of the service.
Dr. Aggrey-Darkoh congratulated the winners and urged them to continue striving for excellence.
Dr. Evans Aggrey-Darkoh stated that the Civil Service Week Celebration is an opportunity to honor those who exemplify dedication and excellence within the Civil Service.
He emphasized the importance of fostering collaboration and innovation to drive national progress. Dr. Aggrey-Darkoh also highlighted key initiatives, including digital transformations such as the Ghana Integrated Logistics Management Information System and the new Electronic Staff Performance Appraisal System, aimed at improving transparency and efficiency in public service.
