The Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, has called on the people of the Northern Region to put aside their differences and unite to promote peace and stability in their communities.

Hon. Muntaka emphasized that the region is rich in potential and its hardworking and God-fearing people can achieve greatness through unity and constructive conflict resolution.

Speaking during a stakeholder engagement with Muslim Religious Leaders and Zongo Chiefs in Tamale, Hon. Muntaka reiterated the Ministry’s commitment to maintaining peace, security, and stability, stressing that development cannot thrive without peace.

The Minister’s appeal highlights the importance of collective efforts in promoting peace and development in the Northern Region.
