Following a successful visit to the Minister for the Interior of Saudi Arabia, H.E. Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, in Riyadh, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, Ghana’s Minister for the Interior called on the Saudi Arabia Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Dakhel to express his gratitude for the warm reception he received during his trip.

The Minister thanked both the Saudi Arabia Interior Minister and the Ambassador for their hospitality and assured them of good working collaboration between Ghana and Saudi Arabia.

The Minister presented a letter of appreciation to the Ambassador to be delivered to the Saudi Arabia Interior Minister as a sign of respect and deep appreciation.

During the visit, the meeting between the two ministers focused on strengthening security cooperation between Ghana and Saudi Arabia, addressing issues of mutual concern. They explored potential areas of collaboration to enhance bilateral relations in the areas of Border Security, Counter-Terrorism and Capacity Building among others.

The visit reflected both countries’ determination to work together to tackle shared challenges and highlights the expanding scope of international cooperation in areas impacting global peace and security.

Hon. Muntaka emphasized that the Ministry of the Interior will explore all avenues for collaboration and support that benefit both countries.

The Saudi Arabian Ambassador assured him that his doors are always open for ideas and collaboration that will benefit both nations.
