The Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, joined personnel of the various security services at the Security Services Football Gala held at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Accra, where he officially commenced the tournament by taking the ceremonial spot kick.
The gala, which brought together teams from the Ghana Armed Forces, Ghana Police Service, Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana National Fire Service, Ghana Prisons Service, and the Ghana Revenue Authority, aims to promote camaraderie, teamwork, and healthy competition among the participating institutions.
Hon. Muntaka commended the security services for embracing sports as a tool for strengthening unity and fostering stronger working relationships.
The football gala forms part of efforts to enhance cooperation and esprit de corps among Ghana’s security and allied services.
