Mrs. Doreen Annan, Acting Chief Director of the Ministry of the Interior has commended the ongoing 2024 Civil Service Week Policy Fair and Exhibition being organised by the Office of the Head of Civil Service at the Ministerial enclave.
The Acting Chief Director, who visited the exhibition stand of the Ministry and other stands, was elated about the array of work and exhibitions by the various Ministries, Departments and other public and private sector organisations.
She encouraged Ministries and Departments to ensure continuous participation in the annual Civil Service Week Celebration since it serves as a learning platform and an opportunity to interact with others and make friends.
The Civil Service Week Celebration Policy Fair and Exhibition gave the different sector Ministries, Departments as well as other private sector organisations the opportunity to exhibit and sell goods and services to Civil Service Staff and the public. It also served as a platform to deepen collaboration between the Civil Service, the Private Sector and its clientele.
The celebration, which is on the theme, ‘Combatting Threats to Sub-Regional Peace and Security: Perspective of the Civil Service’ aims at ensuring effective collaboration between the Public and Private Sector for accelerated development in the country and also facilitate interactions with clients and the public on the role of the Civil Service in combating threats to peace.
Other activities for the annual celebration include a Float, Press Launch, Thanksgiving Service, Public Lecture, Know the Civil Service Quiz Competition, Cooking Competition and Inter-Ministerial Games. An Awards Ceremony will climax the celebration at Accra International Conference Centre.
