The King of Akyem Kotoku State, His Gracious Majesty Oseadeeyo Dr. Frimpong Manso IV, has commended the Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, for his leadership and foresight in advancing Ghana’s security sector, describing his efforts as commendable and urging him to continue the good work.
The commendation was made during a meeting between the Minister and a delegation from the Akyem Kotoku State to discuss security matters and opportunities for collaboration to enhance safety and security within the traditional area.
His Gracious Majesty Oseadeeyo Dr. Frimpong Manso IV, reaffirmed the Akyem Kotoku State’s readiness to support and work closely with the Ministry of the Interior and the security services. He noted that the traditional authorities remain committed to partnering government to address security needs of the area through the provision of land and support for security-related projects.
In his response, Hon. Muntaka thanked the chiefs for their support and commitment to the development of their State. He commended them for their foresight in prioritising security and assured them of the Ministry’s readiness to partner with traditional authorities to improve security delivery.
The Minister reiterated Government’s commitment to retooling the security services and assured the delegation of the Ministry’s continued collaboration in addressing security needs of the Akyem Kotoku State.
