At the commemoration of the 65th anniversary of the Catholic Relief Services (CRS) in Accra, the Minister for the Interior, Hon. Ambrose Dery urged Ghanaians to advocate for positive change wherever they find themselves in society.

He noted that the tireless efforts made by non-governmental organisations such as the Catholic Relief Services have made an incredible impact and positive change in the Ghanaian society.

He commended Catholic Relief Services for partnering the Ghana Refugee Board to support Burkinabe refugees fleeing violent extremism in their communities as well as working with the National Peace Council to improve trust between communities and security forces.

The Hon. Minister acknowledged the long–term partnership between CRS and the Government to bring relief and improvement in the lives of people in need. He, therefore, commended them for lives transformed, the barriers broken, and the hope ignited by the remarkable work of the organisation.

Hon. Ambrose Dery congratulated the Catholic Relief Services on their anniversary and hoped for a strengthened partnership between the Government and CRS.
