The Head of Mission of the Embassy of the State of Palestine to the Republic of Ghana, Mr. Ahmed Abu Dalfa, has paid a courtesy call on the Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, at his office in Accra.
The visit was to formally introduce himself and to explore areas of cooperation and collaboration between Ghana and Palestine.
Mr. Abu Dalfa commended Ghana for its consistent support for Palestine and pledged his commitment to strengthening the relationship between the two countries and moving it to another level.
Welcoming him to Ghana, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak assured the envoy of peace and security in the country and noted the long-standing cordial relations between Ghana and Palestine.
The Interior Minister reaffirmed Ghana’s non-aligned foreign policy position, stating that Ghana will continue to stand firm in its principles.
Hon. Muntaka further assured the Head of Mission that his doors remain open for sharing of information and ideas that will be mutually beneficial to both countries.
