The International Organisation for Migration (IOM) has commended Ghana for its efforts in developing a Migration Policy and effective migration management.
Madam Fatou Ndiaye, Head of the IOM Mission in Ghana, made the commendation during a visit to the Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, at his office in Accra.
Madam Ndiaye noted that Ghana is leading by example in migration management, emphasising that migration issues require collaborative efforts. She thanked the Ministry for its support and partnership with IOM.
Hon. Muntaka expressed gratitude for IOM’s long-standing cooperation and assured the organisation that the Ministry will continue to work together to ensure effective migration management in Ghana.
