The Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, has officially launched the Ministry’s Online Digital Services Portal, marking a significant milestone in Ghana’s digital transformation agenda.
The portal will provide citizens with convenient access to various services, including citizenship and migration services, security and regulatory services and specialized services.
Services available on the portal include Citizenship and Migration Services, Immigrant Quota Permit, Renunciation of Citizenship, and Dual Nationality/Citizenship Application. Others include Licensing of Private Security Organizations, Permission to Import or Export Explosives, Permit to Import or Export Arms and Ammunition, and Exportation of Dead Bodies.
The digitalization of these services is expected to improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability, while also enhancing data security and revenue assurance.
The portal is part of the government’s broader digital transformation agenda, aimed at creating a modern, secure, and inclusive digital economy.
