Staff of the Ministry of the Interior’s Head Office has received training in fire safety.
The one-day course was to raise their awareness on fire hazards in the workplace and how to act safely in the event of an emergency fire situation.
Aside the academic theories on what fire is and its various types, personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service took the staff through the selection and usage of a fire extinguisher.
Some members of staff had the opportunity to practice what they had been thought.
