The Minister for the Interior has on the advise of the Savannah Regional Security Council and by Executive Instrument reviewed the curfew hours imposed on Bole Township and its environs in the Savannah Region from 8:00 p.m to 5:00a.m to 10:00p.m to 4:00a.m effective, Wednesday, 31st July, 2019.

The review is as a result of the improved security situation, coupled with genuine desire of the people to sustain the peaceful atmosphere currently prevailing in Bole.

Government continues to urge Chiefs, Elders, Opinion Leaders, Youth and people of the area to exercise restraint in the face of the challenges confronting them as well as to use non-violent means to channel their energies into ensuring peace in the area.

Meanwhile, there is a total ban on all persons in the afore-mentioned communities and its environs from carrying arms, ammunition or any offensive weapon and any persons found with any arms or ammunition will be arrested and prosecuted.
